How to choose a balance bike from 1.5 years.
The inside leg length determines the height of the saddle. The child must be able to reach the ground with flat feet.
A bicycle may not weigh more than 1/3 of the weight of the child.
Solid foam or rubber tires can not leak. They drive stiffly.
Air tires run smoother and are more solid. You can get a flat tire, but repairing a tire is cheaper than buying a new wheel.
Any hand brakes such as with Woom are not really necessary. Children use their feet to brake. Hand brakes are a good preparation for the pedal bike.
From 1 1/2 – 2 years, children can already handle a balance bike.
